How wide is this bulb? I have narrow spotlights and some GU10 bulbs that look like this are too wide to be able to twist into position.

Hi. Are these bulbs fire rated and suitable for use in a bathroom? I have LED alights but they do it dim to enough or to a warm light.
Thanks
Electrical World Replies:

Hello, the fire rating will depend on both the bulb and the fitting combined... If your fitting is fire-rated and recommends using halogen bulbs that would be ok.

Would this generate enough heat to use in a candle wax burner - currently using 25watt 220v but don’t seem to be able to get them anywhere
Electrical World Replies:

Hello, thanks for the question. Unfortunately, as this bulb has not been designed for use within a wax burner we are unable to confirm that it would be suitable for this purpose.

Hello, if you prefer a cool white (4000K or so) you could use this to see what we have available: https://www.electricalworld.com - however if you want something really sharp (almost blue light), try this: https://www.electricalworld.com/SearchResults.aspx?Search=gu10+led&AttributeValueIDs=228
