Hi, I purchased one of these packs back in February. However, the remote is slighly different - it has buttons for control of up to 5 devices and is more rectangular in shape. I would like to extend my current setup with another remote and additional sockets but would like both to be identical and fully interoperable. If you could get back to me that would be great! Many thanks in advance.

Hello, The supplier has recently updated the product and it sounds like you have the newer model. Can you kindly send us a picture, I can ensure this is the case for you? I will be requesting the team to update the images on the listing also. thanks

Can they be used for external lights?

Hello, thanks for the question. Yes, this can be used with external lights, however, the socket would have to be plugged in indoors or used with a waterproof box, as the sockets are not water-resistant.

Hi... can a 10 way power strip be plugged into these remote controled plugs.
Cheers Bill

Hello, thanks, you could as long as you don't overload the socket's maximum wattage - 2900 Watts.

Hello, we have spoken to the manufacturer who advise us that each remote is assigned to the particular sockets there should not be any issue with turning on the wrong appliance

Will this work from upstairs to downstairs if well within 20m, or does it need a clear line of sight?
Electrical World Replies:

Hello, This will depend on a number of elements such as the material your second floor is constructed from. If this is a conventional timber floor on top of joists etc this should work ok. thanks

Stopped working. Misplaced instructions. Is it possible to obtain a copy of the working instructions?
I am willing to pay if that is necessary.
