KnightsBridge IP30 12V LV Transformer Suitable for Halogen Bulbs 35-105va with Short Circuit and Overload Protection.

Maintenance free transformers (dimensions: L 120mm x W 30mm x H 23mm) with compact design to allow installation through the luminaire aperture.

This product is a standard 35-105VA pre-wired transformer with thermal fuse for overload & short circuit reset.
(rated at 125 degrees centigrade)

Minimum Transformer Load of 35W, Maximum Load of 105W.
240V Input and 12V Output.
Suitable for dimming.
Cable length of 200mm.
Comes complete with leads and does not require an earth connection.

This product is also available in a 60Va Version - T02 60Va Transformer.

Is this transformer suitable for use with LED bulbs? If it is and I'm using 5w LED bulbs does that mean I need to run at least 7 bulbs at a time to equal the minimum 35w? If it's not suitable is there an alternative one you can recommend please?

Hello, Good Question! Yes, this would be suitable for LED bulbs provided you meet the minimum wattage requirement. One other thing to watch for is whether the LEDs are AC or DC as this transformer produces AC output.
