Can i put this in a granite worktop?

yes you can but we would suggest you ask a company who works with granite to cut the hole for this. Once the hole is bored this would be easy to fit. You would also need to make sure you have an appropriate supply cable present! Hope this helps.

As the socket face plate is recessed inside this small-looking circular tin, I don't see where the cable coming out from a 3-pin plug would go when trying to plug into this socket? Do you have a picture of this with a real-life appliance plug pushed in to the socket to prove it actually works? Thanks

Hi, The listing has now been updated to show how a plug sits in this item. Hopefully this is of help to you! Many thanks

Hi, I am thinking of placing three or four of these into the floor in my open plan living room to remove the need for trailing leads to charge phones, iPads and the kids' tablets. These are the only floor sockets I have found with USB charging points built into them. I would need to replace the fitted cable and connect up a radial circuit with the four units together. Can you confirm if the fitted cable can be removed and replaced with 2.0 or 2.5 twin and earth linking the four sockets together?

Hello Paul, the fitted cable is sealed in and we would recommend connecting these sockets via junction boxes. You could run a new radial circuit in 2.5mm Twin & Earth cable supplied via a 20A RCBO. Thank you for your enquiry.

Hi
Does this sit in completely flush with the counter top, or does the lip sit on top of it?
Could you add a picture of it fitted?
thanks

Hello Gary, it doesn't sit completely flush with the countertop. We have attempted to show this in our listing images, but you can get a clearer idea by following this link to the specification sheet for the product: http://www.electricalworld.com/Images/ModelDescriptions/Knightsbridge-SK003-Switched - thank you for your enquiry.

Just a quick check on the counter top thickness range. I’ve noticed one or two reviews of similar products indicate that the maximum counter top thickness is 30mm and that info provided (I.e. 50mm max) is a misprint. My worktop is 38mm, please confirm this product is suitable. Thank you.

Hello Dave - yes, the manufacturer has confirmed that the mounting board thickness may be in the range 14-50mm. Thank you for your enquiry.
