Can this adhesive be used on top of existing marble surround?
Electrical World Replies:
Thank you for your question!
Yes, the Vitcas Heat Resistant Tile Adhesive, 5Kg can be used on top of an existing marble surround. However, it is important to ensure that the surface is properly prepared before application. You should clean the marble surface thoroughly to remove any dirt, grease, or loose materials. Additionally, since marble is a non-porous material, it is recommended to use a primer like Vitcas PVA Adhesive Sealer on the marble to enhance the bonding strength of the tile adhesive.
