Hi.
I have recently bought & installed the 3-way version of this Switch.
It works great. If I bought a second switch, would the controllers clash and the remote controls try to control both switches?

Yes we know these have been used to do this and many other applications . We have known customers to wire sirens, pumps, lights and many more items through this. Just check the max wattage of the appliance and make sure it doesn't exceed that of the switch box.

In the event of a loss of power e.g. a power cut, when power is reconnected does the switch box resume the supply to the connected devices i.e. Is the supply latched? For example if a pond pump is powered from the switch box, following a resumption of power after a cut, will the pump still operate or will it need switching on via the remote?

The Units are fitted with “Un-Latching” relays, therefore, once the power is reconnected, the Hand Controller would need to select the device to be powered again.

Gland II and III – 2.5 for the 3 way Box and Gland I – 8, Gland II and III – 2.5, Gland IV – 2, Gland V – 1 for the 5 Way.

Purchase a knightbridge remote external switch box , have now fitted it, but it is not working the only thing that works is the red light on remote comes on .have check cables ,fuses no luck . This unit operates via a radio signal (rather than infra red which is more directional.) As long as you are within the range of the unit it will work but walls etc will reduce the range somewhat. A site test is the only real way to know if the range will be acceptable as like all radio signals range will vary based on various external influences. The manufacturer has provided an approx range of 20 meters. We have been told by some customers this can be much more and others have said it worked 15 meters away through their kitchen window!

Hello, additional remotes are not available for sale but if you lost a remote you can pair up a replacement one. In the past we have been able to get a few remotes from the manufacturer but this is not a sure thing. Thank you for your enquiry.

We would recommend not using any bigger than 1.5mm, although we are aware of a customer who says he successfully installed 2.5 mm into the connections - but we cannot confirm this. Thank you for your enquiry.

Hi,
Would it be possible to use a sonoff RF bridge to convert into WiFi remote control so you can then use your phone/Alexa to control the switches? I believe this unit works with 433 MHz.
It would be great if we could convert the RF to WiFi and lose the remote?
