We manufacture some machines that have 1.5kW 1-ph 240V 50Hz cap start / cap run electric motors. We have a problem in that they blow 13A BS1362 fuses on start up on some machines we supply to UK BS1362 markets. We suspect that our issue is some counterfeit fuses being used. The machines have a peak start current of 57A but for less than 1.5 seconds. Can you supply the 13A BS1362 fuse as a time-delay or slow-blow fuse? Please let me know and we will order a bulk quantity. Thanks Tim Barnett

Hi, I'm looking for a replacement fuse for a Uni-T UT61C multimeter. The original fuse details are 'AsiaFuse AF63C-10A, 10A, BS1362, SS167 with ASA and CCC stamp markings. There is also a 1A variant. The manual quotes:
1A H 240V, 6x25mm (CE)
10A H 240V, 6x25mm (CE)
Please note that even though the manual quotes 240v for the fuse rating, the multimeter casing quotes 250v.
Please can you tell me if these 'Cooper Bussmann BS1362 Electric Mains UK 3 Pin Plug Top Fuses Power Breakers' fuses will suffice?
I've noted that these are ceramic which is one requirement as I assume that means they are therefore sand / silicon filled?
Thanks
