I use these, with an LED bulb, to give me extra light on my bench when soldering and/or when I'm fixing electrical/IT equipment.
A cheap, easy and simple way to get extra light where you need it without any fuss.

The lead is long enough and the switch is very handy as I have the lights clipped on low, but I can see it would be more awkward if they were higher

The clip-on-lights are of good quality and they are easy to apply where needed. I got two of them to use as additional lighting for interior plants with special spectrum bulbs.

They can be clipped on the flat objects and/or hanged on a small screw or hook.
