It is a sturdy heater but it only dries the area touching the rack. So you would have to keep moving the clothes the whole time. It really is only good for being a clothes horse. It may be better with just underwear and socks because they are smaller.

I ordered the airer to cut down on drying clothes on the radiators , the retractable sides make it easy to store as the legs fold flat , I was attracted to this item due to the value 4p per hour in electricity however the one retractable side doesn’t get as hot as the others , you do have to constantly turn the items as unless your drying jumpers the legs of trousers for example are wet , good purchase to accompany drying clothes on radiators but not instead of
