I had a problem with condensation in a bedroom, but needed something quiet so it didn't disturb sleeping. This is almost silent, and hums along quietly in a corner extracting the excess moisture. Having read reviews on peltier technology I didn't have high expectations, but it works fine, and does what it needs to, and for the price its brilliant

Purchased this for an insulated& gently heated outdoor building 5m x 4m to keep humidity down. Thus far appears to be doing what it is supposed to and considering the shockingly wet & stormy weather being experience, this is something of a triumph. This unit is designed to work best at 15C or above, so consider this when purchasing.

Great dehumidifier, using it to reduce mould on the walls, seems to be working.
