Hi! Can I use this anti condescension paint as a first coat and then paint over it with anti-mold paint? And can they be tinted? Thanks
Genevieve from Canada
Hi! Yes, you can use Ronseal Anti Condensation Paint as a first coat and then paint over it with an anti-mould paint. The anti-condensation paint adds an insulating layer to prevent condensation and is designed to be painted over, including with moisture-resistant paints like anti-mould options. Just make sure to allow the anti-condensation paint to dry for about four hours before applying the next coat. As for tinting, Ronseal Anti Condensation Paint comes in white and isn't generally available in tinted versions. However, you can paint over it with a tinted top coat if desired. I have a tin roof shop. The ceiling is sweating bad. Will this product keep the ceiling for sweating?
Tyler from United States
Hello Tyler, it will depend how bad the condensation is. We used this in our warehouse but it was only part of the solution. We had to use some other methods to divert some of the condensation. Thank you for your enquiry.
