I need to use this for a fan in my shop so when its warm say 25c it switches on and when the room temp goes down to 24 say it switches off. I already have a Honeywell one but it doesn't switch off as the surrounding temp drops.

Hello, this product should work for this - you can set the dial to a temperature between 10 and 30°C, and when the room temperature below the value, it should turn on, and when it is above, it should turn off. Thanks

Hi - is this stat purely mechanical or does it require a mains supply? I want to use it in a remote location away from mains supply. Thanks
