Hello I need a replacement bulb for my cabinet that is 724mm with pins. Struggling. If I replace the fitting can I just swap the longer one for a shorter model, and will it work if the cabinet is a touch button light??

How do you change the light for this fitting and how long are they supposed to last, mine seems to have gone just after one year, is this normal

Hello Aisling, to replace the tube, ensure the mains is switched off and allow to cool. Slide lamp covers inward to remove them then rotate tube 90° before removing it. Ensure the lamp covers are replaced after a new tube is inserted. Lamp life will depend on how much it is used - thank you for your enquiry.
