PVC/PVC Meter Tails

A huge range of Double Insulated 6181Y PVC/PVC Meter Tails in stock which are generally used for connecting a consumer unit, fuse board or switch fuses to the incoming electric supply meter.

The smaller tails such as 1mm are generally used for wiring lighting switch wires, heating controls and other electrical controls which don't require large switching currents.

Tails such as 6mm are used alot for connecting sub-panels or fuse boards for garages and showers.

The inner PVC insulation is either Brown (Live) or Blue (Neutral) with a secondary sheath of Grey PVC.

At the connection point on the supply meter the outer grey PVC is generally cut a few mm short so as show the inner colours of Brown & Blue.
