Bought this to light up the drive (we have 4 cars) and it does it well. Not too bright, didn't want a floodlight. Just well enough so we can see what we're doing at night.

replaced an older type lamp with this, lamp a lot smaller but provides the same light as older lamp even though its nearly half the size and easier to work on .
