In the description of this switch it is stated that it must be earthed. Can you please confirm whether the switch has an earth connection. If not how would I ensure that is earthed?

Hello, the circuit supplying this and if the back box is metal these should be earthed but the switch itself does not need earthed. thanks

I have a 240v:24v transformer connected to an LED strip. Is this switch suitable for this application? Say 24v load is 6w.
Or is there another relevant product?
Electrical World Replies:
|
Hello, unfortunately this product isn't suitable for those requirements. It does not switch LED loads, and it requires a neutral at the switch, thanks

Can i use this to replace a traditional light switch in a hallway. There are two lights and two switches turning on/off the light at the bottom and top of the stairs. Can i replace the two switches with two of these?
Electrical World Replies:

Hello, this can be used in lieu of a traditional light switch. But please note a live and neutral feed is required for PIR sensors. Thanks.
