I have a 240v:24v transformer connected to an LED strip. Is this switch suitable for this application? Say 24v load is 6w.
Or is there another relevant product?
Electrical World Replies:

Hello, unfortunately this product isn't suitable for those requirements. It does not switch LED loads, and it requires a neutral at the switch, thanks

In the description of this switch it is stated that it must be earthed. Can you please confirm whether the switch has an earth connection. If not how would I ensure that is earthed?
Electrical World Replies:
|
Hello Alwyn, the circuit supplying this switch must be earthed; if the back box is metal it too should be earthed. The connections to the switch are Neutral, Live (IN) and Live (OUT), therefore the switch itself does not need to be earthed. Thank you for your enquiry.

I’d be using this for a 60W LED light, so will it need a capacitor/a transformer?
Electrical World Replies:
|
Hello, you can connect standard LED lighting to this and a load of 60W will not be an issue. Thanks again.

The lighting circuit in my home is red and black, no earth. Can I use this motion sensorr ?
Electrical World Replies:

Hello David, this product requires only a Live and Neutral - there is no earth terminal. This motion sensor should be fine depending on the application you will be using it for. Thank you for your enquiry.
