Please can you tell me the depth of this controller? How far from flush is it?

Hello thanks for the question , the depth will depend on your back box depth available. If you have a mm back box depth you wont need to use the spacer and the switch will only protrude 13 mm. If you do need to use the spacer the switch protrudes 25 mm. Thanks

Question: I'm considering utilising this unit to control an heating element in a towel rail situated in the bathroom. However, what's not clear to me from the product info is if this unit is suitable to use in IEE Zone 2. Probably missed something!
Kind regards
Mervyn

What is the IP rating - can this be fitted inside a bathroom to control a towel rail element?
Electrical World Replies:

Hello, this product would only be suitable for areas outside the bathroom. If your bathroom is small and doesn't have a suitable zone, one option is to install the timer on the other side of the wall behind the appliance (i.e., in an adjacent room).
