The cord had broken how do I turn it off

Hi Sandra - If the pull cord has broken you won’t be able to turn it off on the fitting, you will need to turn off / disconnect the mains power to the fitting and the complete unit will need to be replaced.

Could you tell me the clearance I need above and below on the wall - ie clearance height from ceiling and floor . Thanks Helen

Hello Helen, this heater should be installed at least 1.8m from the floor. The installation instructions also advise that "the mounting position should allow the free movement of air around the heater" and that "obstructing the air flow could result in overheating" but, provided those conditions are met, the distance from the ceiling is not specified.
