ESP Fire Alarm Magnetic Door Holder With Wall Keeper Plate £48.07
ESP Fire Alarm Magnetic Door Holder With Wall Keeper PlateThis electromagnetic door retainer unit is designed for use in fire applications where doors are usually kept open but in the event of a fire alarm being activated all automatically shut to act as a fire door. These units have a holding force of 40kg and a spring return action eliminates the problems of residual magnetism keeping the doors in place. There is also a manual release button mounted on surface box so that the door can be closed easily when needed. The swivel keeper plate ensures that the magnetic connection is made every time no matter the angle the door is facing Fire alarms should be installed by an electrician in accordance with the current electrical engineering codes of practice, IEE regulations for electrical equipment and current Fire Regulations. hi i already have these onsite at as i work on a block of apartments where older peoe live. All communal corridor doors have these installed and are linked to the fire panel.
If i was to purchase one for another communal door can an electrician fit it or does it have to be the people who service our fire panel who would need to do it?
