Already have a stove but they can be messy, so found this fire for the living room. Saved £400 buying it from this company rather than a local fire design store. Built a simple raised fireplace with flags and old beans, with logs underneath. bought a fake stove bend for £30 off Amazon. Its fooling everyone. Had heating engineers to replumb radiators. One said he didnt notice a stove when walking through the room. Son asked when I had it fitted. So great substantial fire. Looks good. Heats well and no mess. Honestly think its brilliant.
