Say you had to get a 50mm hole through a wall for data and fire alarm cables - 2 sheets of plasterboard on one side, 1 sheet of ply, 100mm void full of Rockwool, another sheet of ply and another 2 sheets of plasterboard on the other side.

A 50mm hole saw and one of these extension bars and it`s job done. A bit of f***ying around with the Rockwool but that`s to be expected.

The right tool for the job.
